The Burning Man Survival Guide arrived in the mail this week.

There are only 44 days until the burn. I have so much left to do before we head out. We decided to rent an RV this year and take our time getting there. The plan so far is to leave on Saturday, go to some hot springs and lakes along the way and get to Black Rock City on Tuesday. I am so excited, its going to be so much fun. I can’t wait!

I finally made it to Burning Man this past Labor Day, and I can’t stop thinking about it. It has been over a month and I am still having dreams two to three times a week. At first I thought it may be because I was reading ‘This Is Burning Man: The Rise of a New American Underground ‘ by Brian Doherty. It is a great read and I recommend it if you are interested in Burning Man’s history. But I am not reading it anymore and I am still dreaming about it.
I had such a great time, and the fun continues. This Saturday there is a decompression party in North Portland called Diversion . It starts at 3pm and goes until 4am. There will be interactive art, workshops, live music, and DJs. You should come, check out, and have fun.
Lots of people have asked me for pictures. Unfortunately, I busted my camera the first night I was there. I am not really sure what happened to it. But fortunately, my 40,000 other friends took tons of pictures . Check out this awesome satellite picture of Black Rock City .
Only 319 days left until the man burns. I can’t wait!
